Tonight I will raise a glass of bubbly and rewatch Bill Cunningham New York. To say he is street style photographer is beneath him. From milliner to documentarian of frilovous fashions and sartorial silliness spanning decades, I liken Bill Cunningham to a cultural anthropologist. Rest in peace dear chronicler of style.

The Posterous platform on which Superstylin* was born is shutting down at the end of April. Slowly but surely I have been transitioning blog posts starting from September 2009 to their new home on the Superstylin* website.
