While working into the wee hours one morning, I kept myself going by delving into my music archives. More often then not Deee-Lite is in the mix to keep me moving. Whenever I hear Music Selector is the Soul Reflector, I cannot help but think of one of my most favorite movies EVER and one of the best scenes EVER.
For the longest time I could not fathom why I did not own the soundtrack to Party Girl. Until now... Thanks to the awesomeness of the interwebz, not one but TWO links for free downloads appeared in my FB feed. The film first introduced me to Dawn Penn's You Don't Love Me (which now serves as a bittersweet reminder of an old lovah). Around the same time as the film's release, I remember dancing to In the Dark We Live in a dirty dark dank warehouse. The song also appeared on an old URB mixed CD by Doc Martin I purchased at Wherehouse during college. If you love Party Girl, the 90s and house music, download away my friends. Enjoy!
