When I recently wrote about Lollipuff, two things struck me about the company. The first being the patent-pending software being developed to authenticate designer merchandise via photos. Second- the name. After some searching, I found the origin: "Lollipuff is a play on dandelion. A dandelion is kind of a feeling that we have about the site, how we want it to spread and we want to share the wisdom of authentication."
