The 80s have been back on the streets with a vengeance for quite some time now. RayBans, acid wash- you name it, people are wearing it and they usually were born after the 80s. Since fashion is cyclic, it's no surprise the 90s are en vogue.

The other night I was watching Welcome to the Dollhouse and underdog Dawn Weiner is shown stargazing with her beau Brandon listening to Debbie Gibson's Lost in Your Eyes (circa 1989). The sounds of Deb caused my mind to drift and I couldn't help but think of THE Debbie Gibson hat and how I saw a similar topper worn on a clothing site the other day. I ain't knockin' the hat since I used to be rockin' the hat (in multiple colors of course) but it all seems like too much too soon since the 90s really weren't that long ago. Leggings are ubiquitous. When will babydoll dresses be back on the scene?
