Gloves are an extra touch of sartorial sass to any outfit. My glove love traces back to Easter Sundays as a little girl wearing white gloves and early 80s Madonna inspired yours truly to cut off the fingers of lace gloves. Many of my majorette and dance costumes also incorporated the accessory and because of them a love of opera-length gloves blossomed.
